Bekah is a multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, songwriter and teacher based in Berkshire, UK
Performer
As a violinist, Bekah has performed in multiple countries and prestigious venues such as the Royal Albert Hall. She led the Southampton University Symphony Orchestra (2021-2022) and received an award for outstanding musical performance in her undergraduate degree. She regularly plays with Farnborough Symphony Orchestra and All Souls Orchestra and has played on tours with west-end superstar Lucie Jones, and Aled Jones. Recent concerts have included playing with the Young Musicians Symphony Orchestra at Cadogan Hall, and a tour to Austria with the All Souls Orchestra.
Singer-Songwriter
Inspired by the likes of Joni Mitchell, Bon Iver and Sylvan Esso, Bekah's music is clearly folk inspired. However, whilst at university she developed her technical skills and began using Ableton to create a broader spectrum of sound. Her debut EP 'Footsteps Through The Ceiling', was released in May 2023, and has been created entirely with experiments using vocals and violin. Two tracks from the EP: 'Be Alright' and 'Good' have had multiple radio plays and the latter was picked as BBC Music Introducing Berkshire's track of the week.
Teacher
Bekah has experience teaching young children violin and piano.
She works hard to create well-planned, yet flexible, fun lessons to help engage and encourage students to achieve their full potential.
